This policy explains what information iSharpe Computer Solutions ("we", "us") collects from our customers and website visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have. iSharpe Computer Solutions provides computer repair and IT support in Burlington, North Carolina and the surrounding area.
When you become a customer, book an appointment or contact us, we collect your name, company name (if any), phone and mobile numbers, email address and service address, along with notes about your computers and devices, your appointments, and the work we have done for you. When you pay us, your card is handled by our payment processors (Square and Stripe); we never see or store your full card number. When you use our website contact form we receive what you type into it, and our website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to tell us how visitors use the site.
We use your information to provide and schedule our services, send appointment confirmations and reminders by email or text message, bill you and send receipts, answer your questions, and keep a record of the work we have done for you.
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we send appointment confirmations and reminders from iSharpe Computer Solutions: usually about 3 messages per appointment. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business, and only so they can do that work for us: payment processing (Square, Stripe), email and text-message delivery, calendar and scheduling, and secure data storage and backup. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Your information is kept in password-protected systems with access limited to iSharpe Computer Solutions. We keep customer records for as long as you are a customer and as needed for our business and tax records.
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. You can stop text messages by replying STOP, and stop emails by asking us.
Our services and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
